		The River Dart Winding its way inland from the sea and Dartmouth the River Dart cuts through lovely rolling, green hills to seek out secluded creeks, muddy inlets and some of the prettiest villages you could hope to find. Hidden away in this valley and with the river running by, One Gun Point is surrounded by woods and glorious countryside and makes a really lovely spot for a holiday at any time of the year. Just a short stroll away is Dartmouth Castle, Steam Railway link to Paington, the heritage coastal footpath and the town of Dartmouth with its pituresque narrow streets and wide range of restaurants and pubs. A very short distance along the coast is Blackpool sands, a safe sandy beach.

Set on a wooded bank, with a river frontage, just a stroll from Dartmouth Castle and the Heritage coastal footpath this wonderful house was built to have a stunning view from every room. CHECK OUT THE VIEW. A MUST!!

With a private garden, sun terrace, steps down to the river and your own running mooring what more could you ask from your holiday home? Having parked your car you need not use it again whilst you are here - there are fantastic walks along the coastal footpath, you can walk or take the castle ferry into town for shopping and maybe in the evening wander along to the Royal Castle Hotel for a drink, a delicious meal or just a cup of coffee and a friendly chat. However, you could just spend the entire time on or in the river if you prefer! The house itself sleeps six but it is possible to accommodate up to 10 if you also take the separate annexe.

ACCOMMODATION: Steps down to front door. Hall way. Large sitting room with dining table at one end and bay window with panoramic view of the river Dart, Dartmouth town, Britannia Royal Naval College and across to Kingswear. Plenty of comfortable seating, colour TV and video and coal effect fire. Well equipped, modern kitchen with Dish Washer, Microwave Oven, gas hob, electric oven and built-in fridge. Separate utility room off hall with Automatic Washing Machine, Tumble dryer, and freezer. Bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and basin. Bedroom 3 with single bed which will pull out to form double. Master double bedroom with large picture window and handbasin. Downstairs to further double bedroom ,dressing-room and en-suite shower, WC and basin. Patio door from bedroom opens onto the terrace. The garden has a lawn, rockery, perfect terrace for barbeques or picnics, a boat house and steps down to the river. There is also the ‘Orchid House’, a glass fronted conservatory built below and along the front of the house.
